In 2008 I graduated from Culinary School with the hopes of one day opening my own night club. At the time I was living in Pittsburgh, I spent most of my time catering with several catering companies in the city. Endless hours prepping, setting up, and serving the masses. I was tired all the time, overworked and underpaid.

I realized I was working hard and barely making ends meet; I was so good at helping others fulfill their vision but wasn't fulfilling my own. Reluctantly, I shifted to teaching, but still had the desire to cook deep in my heart. To be honestly, I took the job as a substitute teacher for Pittsburgh Public Schools as a way to help me figure life out while paying my bills. I didn't expect to fall in love with teaching, start a tutoring business and return to my love of cooking.

Yet... HERE I AM! Living my wildest dreams of cooking & teaching.
